Jean Sulpice’s eponymous restaurant is located at 2300 m in altitude, in our Oxalys residence, in Val Thorens. A relaxed environment with attentive service and a panoramic view over the mountains. An unusual setting for extraordinary cuisine which is subjected to the laws of altitude. Gaining his first Michelin star at 26 and second at 31, Jean Sulpice is a gastronomic phenomenon.
This young Savoyard, who trained, amongst others, under Marc Veyrat, chose to take his cuisine up to the dizziest of heights. Through incredible dishes dictated by nature, Jean Sulpice provides healthy, inventive and authentic cuisine revolving around local, seasonal produce such as a ‘chestnut velouté with a parmesan chaud-froid and grated truffles.
At his side is his wife, Magali Sulpice, who is a Sommelier. She proposes unusual, yet lively and tasty wine combinations. An off-piste duo providing a unique experience in the highest Michelin starred restaurant in Europe…
